One very interesting fact about acne is that it is almost non existent outside of the western world. Acne is not broadly speaking harmful, although it can be a source of embarrassment, especially since it is prevalent in adolescence when physical appearance and sociable standing are usually very important. The story of acne reaches back to the dawn of recorded history.
It's important that you not get discouraged if you have tried acne treatments in the past that didn't work. It happens to almost everyone.
